• Reflection: What he meant by this quote is that everything he did came from his heart not for fame. He didn’t help his players with personal, educational, or team wise advice because he knew that would make him have a legacy. He did it because he knew that was the right thing to do. He is a great example of what a Ctr person. The reason why is because he never was a greedy man but a kind hearted man. To add on, the quote basically means that he didn’t want the fame, legacy, to be named after a basketball stadium, nor fans. He just knew that doing the right thing wouldn’t take anything from him.

Student Success Statement: ‘’ It’s not about achieving your dreams. It’s about how you lead your life.  If you lead your life the RIGHT WAY , the karma (good results, destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you.

Reflection: What i think Dr. Randy meant by this quote is that if you do good things in life (karma) will return the favor. I also think this quote is trying to say that if we stay on the right path success will be awaiting.  Being able to stay on the right path and not being influenced to lose track would be a real accomplishment. Also if you are able to do that you will be able to do anything you set your mind to do. Anything is possible if you have determine to do so.

Student Success Statement: ‘’ Of all the work that can be done for our country, the greatest is that of educating the body , the mind, and above all the character, giving spiritual and more training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destination of the nation.”

Reflection: Like Mr. Haymore said this country needs a generation of Ctr people. What i also think this quote mean is that we need to know how to be able to educate ourselves to better than the past generation. To always choose good and right above all. In this education can be referred to knowledge. No only as in books or how long you been in school, but as in knowledge of the mind. To know that there  will be consequences for your actions. To know when to say no when you know what your being ask to do is wrong. This also can apply to character, because choosing the right should be a standard to live by. In short i believe this quote means that if we stay on the right path and we always choose the right we will achieve success in life as well in our health.

Medical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

Medical Assistants are the ones who take medical history and  reports of patients.They also answer telephones, fill in insurance reports, and schedule appointments.They usually work and support along sides physicians.

Salary: $30,590

Education/Demands: To become a Medical Assistant you don’t need too many demands.However, you do need a high school diploma and have training.You do have to take training from 9-12 months in an university or colleges that offer training for medical assistant.

Reflection: No, I wouldn't want to be in this profession because i wouldn't want to do this.I’m interested more in either a surgeon, or something that has to do with criminal justice.

LPN

Duties and Responsibilities: A licensed practical nurse is someone who provide healthcare to patients. They also plan and manage patient care according to their needs. Records their medical history. As well gets patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms.

Salary: $43,170

Education/ Demands: If you're interested in becoming a LPN you must have a high school diploma. Or GED to apply for LPN educational training program. That may take up to 12 months in technical and vocational schools/community colleges.

Reflection: No, I wouldn’t like to settle in for this job i would be more interested in something that has to do with criminal justice or a surgeon. I don’t really imagine myself wanting to work as a LPN, because it is not something i would like to do.  

Kinesiologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Kinesiology is the study of human movement(muscles). A kinesiologist identify and examine how the human body moves and how it can function better. In the same way they also interview the patient, and with that data they develop an exercise program that will challenge the person to improve their cardiovascular strength.

Salary: $56,000

Education/demands:In order to become a Kinesiologist you need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field. Such as human Kinetics, Exercise Science, or Exercise Physiology. You also need to take some sort of training that has to do with Kinesiology.

Reflection: No, I’m not interested in the position for Kinesiology because it doesn’t really capture and go for what I’m focusing on. Which would be either in  criminal justice or a surgeon.

 My family and I spent christmas in Mexico with my aunt and uncle. Everyone agreed to meet up at my aunt’s house three days before Christmas. That way we could prepare everything on time. In those three days my family and I went to a river, and we spend some time with my grandma. Christmas wasn’t a big deal. It was just a day  where we all came together to spend some  time with each other. On Christmas they always make tamales, pozole, spaghetti, pasta alfredo, alongside a few desserts. I didn’t really do much in winter break. On the other hand on New years all my tia’s, tio’s, cousins came to my house to spend New Year’s together. My winter break was honestly boring i didn’t really do much, but meeting up with cousins I haven’t seen over years was great.
