Emergency Medical Technician                                                                                                                Duties and Responsibilities: Is a person who is specially trained for basic emergency services to victims trauma,or acute  illness before and during transportation to the hospital. All emergency  medical technician  are responsible for rushing to the scene of crisis, and to perform basic life-saving techniques. May include patient assessment, burn management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, birth assistance….etc         Salary: $29,697-$37,780                                                                                                                            Education/demands: You must complete EMT basic training from 6 months-1 years.  You don’t have to complete a four  year college to become an EMT, become many two year colleges offer EMT programs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

                                             Reflection: No, I wouldn’t want to become an EMT because like I said before I want to focus on a career that has to do in criminal justice, or to become a heart surgeon.
