Reflection: What i think Peter Vidmar meant by this quote is that opportunities don’t come around twice. In the same way I believe this quote means that if you throw your dream for something that isn’t permanent it’ a waste of time. For example let’s say your goal is recive a A+ for your Math class before your permanent report card  and you know you are going to have a huge test the next day, and you decide to go out with your friends instead of staying home to study. You just throw away your goal for something that wasn’t worth it, because you can always go out with your friends some other day but  you won’t be able to change your grade to an A+.
