Student Success Statement: " Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addiction using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it." 

 

Reflection: What I think this quote means is that cheating can bring many permanent consequences into your life. For example, let's say you cheat on your English test and you get a good grade. The short term variable would be cheating and long term variable would be a "F" for the class. If you get caught doing something that is wrong or illegal it will catch up to you and there will be many consequences.  Like the quote says, " many think" we think that cheating is no big deal as well as it is the shortcut. However, in life there are no shortcuts you have to take the long way and work really hard.
