Reflection: What I think he meant by this quote is that in order to be free you have to be someone who always chooses the right. If you do that then you won’t find yourself in bad situations. Independence plays a role with choosing the right and being a CTR person. When you choose the right you are   independent ,because you know what is wrong and what is right. As well as you know how to act accordingly in situations without people having to  tell you what you should do. For instance, let’s give the example that Mr. Haymore gave the class. If you go to jail is because you didn’t choose the right and because you aren’t able to distinguish good from bad. In short the only way to be free and i mean it literally, is to be a good human being who always chooses the right.
